This week, Apple has reset the Game Center via its Game Center online page that the new social gaming service will be compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and second-, third-, and fourth-generation iPod touch models. Unlike the list issued early last month, the second-generation iPod touch is added, but not the iPhone 3G.

Game Center offers developers a number of tools to enhance the user experience with social gaming features with the aims of bringing together a fragmented array of such networks by offering a single Apple-sponsored way to foster interactivity within and across games.
